It’s okay?
So when I ordered this i wasn’t too sure how it would turn out because there was only one review. But I still ordered anyways.After ordering and setting up its not too bad of a shelf. I mean it wobbles a bit but that’s because I didn’t mount it to my wall. It holds a pretty good amount of weight and as long as i don’t constantly mess with it I assume it will last me a while. In my opinion it was well worth ordering!

Good/bad? Sturdy/Not sturdy? Weight limit?
I like it and don’t really have any REAL complaints. I got this to replace a dresser. It’s working for that, very well. Its pretty sturdy up/down, I took the chance and sat my 130+lbs self on top and it stayed together. (I did NOT MOVE around while on it.) So, I wouldn’t lean on it from any direction unless what you have on it, isn’t important because I do believe it would eventually topple over. If the company could show more photo examples to consumers that way they know more on what it’s limits are when it comes to holding/strength/durability that would be great! Like, if it could hold a small/medium 10-50gal reptile tank or withstand a small child leaning on it from the side; THAT would be a HUGE buying/selling point! Just my opinion.

Worth every penny
Honestly for the price i spent this shelf was worth it, i got just to help me out a bit with all my baby stuff like diapers baby clothes, books etc and its perfects its a little rocky but I'm assuming its because i didn't mount it to the wall but other than that pretty sturdy and im all about a easy install

Just what I needed, perfect size
I bought this cabinet for a vinal collection. I ordered it in black to match some other items I've bought before. When it came I was so excited. It was easy to put together. One good thing about it was I could stand it up or lay it on it's side and that is what I did because I wanted to put my record player on top of it. It was perfect for the place I needed it for. The size of the boxes were perfect to not only stand up my records but store my CD as well. It is easy to clean. Sturdy, not shakey. I just love this shelf. It looks mice in my living room. I dont have a picture but it looks kust like those provided with the product.

If Better Homes and Gardens has endorsed this piece of junk, THEN SHAME ON You!! I was a handyman for 25 years before I retired, I've assembled a lot of different things in my day and this wind the prize for "CHEAP".The center boards are maybe 1/2 inch thick particle board. The top, bottom and side pieces APPEAR to be about 1 1/2 inch thick solid wood pieces but are some sort of lightweight hollow pieces of something.It is easy to assemble, however when finished you'll be astonished as to how far it rocks back an forth (left to right).Had I not destroyed the box to have something to build it on (EVEN THOUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS TELL YOU "NOT TO RETURN" the item but to call their 800 number for assistance (which I did because the cam locks that hold it together broke) I would have packed that baby up and Amazon would once again be the proud owners of that piece of ....Now I'll have to find a stud in the wall, brace it and hope the shelves hold the weight of the books.Save your money and your hair and look at other "BETTER OPTIONS".UPDATE: I called the 800# that I was directed to call by their paperwork and spoke with a woman who said I should receive the damaged or missing parts within 3-5 business days. As of this update that was 3 weeks ago and I am still without the parts I need to finish this assembly. I WISH AMAZON HAD A NEGATIVE STAR SYSTEM, I WOULD GLADLY GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 10.

Heavy.
Must be assembled laying down on the floor.Full weight is about 80lbs.Looks nice either way set up. The design is exacting that no matter how you set it up every side is up.Must be familiar with locking bolts, as they are part of the assembly.I bought 2. The first one took 2 hours to assemble ( I did this by myself ). The second one i did in about 45 minutes. So yes there is some things that can be done easier or better than how the directions say to do it.
